What is poetry if not the essence of life ? Poetry is not merely an act of writing, it manifests itself in everything. Poetry is an act of transcendence. Through the transcendence of reality, it reveals the invisible and connects us to the infinitely vast, the Great Whole. Poetry is also an act of sublimation. It has the power to transcend darkness and bring forth light.
